Watch out for the Peppery Paws! A plant-based dog friendly version of the classic Dutch ‘kruidnoten’. Easy to whip up, with just a few ingredients, but oh la la… mouthwatering for the four-legged. 🐶 They won’t want anything else after they have sniffed and licked these festive treats (Swipe to see how excited Mr. Pooh got).

Here’s the recipe:
50 g spelt flour
50 g chickpea flour
½ tsp baking powder
2 tbsp yeast flakes
a pinch of cinnamon, turmeric, ginger and black pepper
30 g rice oil
30 g water

Preheat the oven to 185°C/365°F. Line a baking tray with baking paper. Knead all the ingredients into a dough. Form little balls and place on the baking paper, on the tray. Bake till crunchy, ca 20 minutes.
